Answer:Step-by-step explanation:Tessa won 25 euros.

She gave her winnings to her five children.

1st child got: 1 euro + of 24 euros = 5 euros

2nd child got: 2 euros + of 18 euros = 5 euros

3rd child got: 3 euros + of 12 euros = 5 euros

4th child got: 4 euros + of 6 euros = 5 euros

5th child got: 5 euros + of 0 euros = 5 euros

The oldest would receive a sixth of the original amount, so s/he would receive the most

1/6 of £25 = £4.17 so that’s what the oldest got.

(£25 – 4.17) • 1/6 = £3.47 so that’s what the second oldest got

(£25 – [4.17 + 3.47]) • 1/6 = £2.93 so that’s what #3 got

(£25 – [4.17 + 3.47 + 2.93]) • 1/6 = £2.41 so that’s what number 4 got

And the remaining 12.98 went to the 5th child
